Suriya plays the role of a handicapped circus artiste in 7am Arivu and will be performing all the circus stunts. Surya also plays the role of scientist & a buddhist monk. Shruti Haasan will be seen in the role of Sharmili.

EZHAM ARIVU is a medical thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin, starring Surya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. The film’s soundtrack is composed by Harris Jayaraj; Ravi K. Chandran is the cinematographer. A Hindi version is also being planned at the same time.It is said that a lot of animation effects you will see in the film, programmed by Stan Winston Studio.After the blockbuster Ghajini, Harris Jayaraj and Surya are once again teaming up with A.R. Murugadoss.
